Strengthening Connections Across Europe

The second issue of Friends We Share highlights the consortium’s continued work in building mentorship networks between refugees and asylum seekers. Since the project’s launch, partners have collaborated across several countries to refine training materials, pilot mentorship activities, and promote inclusive learning environments.

Progress & Highlights

  • National teams have begun implementing the Connection Cafés, informal mentoring sessions that foster dialogue and mutual support.

  • The Training Programme for Adult Educators has been tested and improved through local workshops.

  • Feedback from participants underscores the value of peer connection and shared experience in strengthening self-esteem and integration.

  • Partners are also preparing the upcoming Overview and Lessons Learnt Report, summarising findings from the first phase of implementation.

Together, these efforts bring the project closer to its goal: sustainable, community-based inclusion for refugees across Europe.
